Being a women isn’t easy, especially in a culture that is structured vastly to benefit one gender over the other. The fight for gender equality however isn’t the only thing women have to deal with. There are several other women’s rights that still have a long way to go. Stacey Ribotsky from New York is one of the women who is not only deeply concerned about the state of women but is also willing to improve it.

A mother to three children (two girls and a boy), Stacey Ribotsky is all praises for women who are making their voice heard by confronting their abusers, making history, and breaking records. Although the recent years have marked many remarkable victories for women, she believes that there is still a lot more work to be done. In the present society, women’s problems include every sphere of life, starting from health, education, to human rights and more. Stacey wants to help women especially that are going through adversities caused by divorce, mental and physical abuse, arrests, issues pertaining to children, loss of financial support, etc.

She says that if it is unfortunate that even in this modern day, women are expected to force themselves into the boxes that society gives them. She feels that speaking about one’s issues and the ways they can be addressed is the first step towards building a future where every woman can enjoy her rights.
